Columbia Counseling Center of Maryland aims to provide high quality integrated multi-specialty psychological and psychiatric care in a comprehensive and coordinated manner. Services are offered for adults, adolescents, children, couples, and families in a confidential professional Center serving the State of Maryland, with offices conveniently located in Mt. Airy, Columbia, Severna Park and Towson.
Carroll Counseling is unique in the ability to provide a broad range of Psychological and Psychiatric Services with multiple areas of expertise and treatment modalities for all ages with a coordinated team approach all in one Center. Psychotherapy for individuals, couples, families, psychiatric evaluation and medication management, psychological and neuropsychological testing for differential diagnoses are available with internal referrals to provide rapid assessment and treatment from a variety of Independently Licensed Psychologists and Board Certified Psychiatrists working together to coordinate care.
Carroll Counseling specializes in Couples and Marital Therapy with an emphasis on increasing effective communication, conflict resolution, connection, intimacy, and enrichment as alternative strategies to separation and divorce. Carroll Counseling has been providing comprehensive psychological and psychiatric services in conjunction with a variety of physician specialties in the community including primary care physicians, OBGYN, Endocrinology, Cardiology, Neurology, Pediatrics to provide consultation and coordination of care. In addition, Carroll Counseling works in conjunction with the school systems both public and private to assist in maximizing children’s academic needs by providing achievement and intellectual testing to determine Learning Disabilities, ADHD, behavioral and social interaction with peers and behavioral therapy as needed. Patients deserve high quality integrated accessible psychological and psychiatric care in a private multispecialty group practice for all members of the family such that individual, family, and marital services can be accessed in an integrated and comprehensive manner all in one Center.
