Dr. Negi has been working in the field of psychiatry since 2005. His postdoctoral training consisted of two years residency in psychiatry at Sarojini Naidu Medical College, Agra, India. From 2001-2005 he was a resident in psychiatry at Howard University Hospital in Washington, DC and received his Board Certification in Psychiatry in 2006. His fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry was at the University of Maryland School of Medicine/Sheppard Pratt Health System followed by receiving his Board Certification in 2013 in the Subspecialty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.

At the Perelman School of Medicine his fellowship was in forensic psychiatry achieving Board Certification in the Subspecialty of Forensic Psychiatry in 2015. Dr. Negi is available to see patients starting at age six on up.
