Dr. Lea received his Masters and Doctor of Education degrees from The Harvard Graduate School of Education. He taught Psychology and Religion at Middlesex School in Concord, Massachusetts, was Instructor of Psychology and Social Relations at Harvard University and Director of Career Development at Washington College. He completed his internship in psychological counseling at The Cambridge Guidance Center in Cambridge, Massachusetts, attained certification in Hypnotherapy from the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis and certification in mind/body Psychomotor Therapy from the Psychomotor Institute.

He is a licensed psychologist since 1984 treating individuals (adults, older children and adolescents), couples and families for depression, anxiety, trauma, behavioral and relationship issues.
