A graduate of Argosy University in Honolulu, Dr. Beyer, received her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology.  Her Masters was earned at the American School of Professional Psychology in Hawaii and her Bachelors in psychology is from the University of California.

She was a therapist in Honolulu for geriatric patients before taking a position as staff psychologist with the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill’s Counseling and Psychological Service.
